Yamaha YFL-482H flute, B-joint, ring keys
description
The flutes of the standard class have been developed with the aim of being particularly easy to play. However, the tonal characteristics are definitely comparable to those of the professional class. Their robust construction and durability makes them ideal for beginners. Accurate intonation helps students develop good hearing.
In 1979, Yamaha produced the YFL-211, YFL-311 and YFL-411 flutes based on its remarkable development. This new series has set the standard and expectations high for instruments for beginners and amateur musicians, and only minor changes have been made to the series over the years.
The next significant step in Yamaha flute development comes in 2016 with the launch of a brand new line of student and mid-level flutes. Over 35 years of flute-making experience promise a new flute series from Yamaha that raises the bar even further and promises to inspire the next generation of flute players around the world.
Yamaha went back to basics with the development of the new range of flutes for students and amateurs. At the Yamaha factory in Indonesia, every aspect of the new instruments is produced with the utmost care and attention to detail.
In order to be able to offer specifications such as a pointed lid mechanism, Yamaha has decided to use more craftsmanship techniques again and manufacture all individual components to a level that is recognized by professionals. This has led to a number of major changes in the production process, all of which contribute to creating instruments of the highest precision and consistent quality.
